About Montgomery County Court Docket

Montgomery County, Ohio court dockets and case records are held by distinct courts and clerks. The local Clerk's PRO system serves several court layers, while Probate, Juvenile, and independent municipal courts follow separate routes. This private reference helps identify the official portal, counter, or court responsible for a particular public record.

Why We Built This Site

Ohio has no statewide public trial-court case index that replaces a county clerk system. In Montgomery County, the Montgomery County Clerk of Courts maintains PRO for County Municipal, Common Pleas General, Domestic Relations, and Second District Court of Appeals of Ohio matters. Probate and Juvenile have separate custodians, and city courts may operate their own search paths. The purpose of this reference is to make that court-by-court routing easier to understand.

What You Will Find Here

  • Docket guides: how criminal dockets and civil dockets are searched and read locally
  • Court dates and settings: how to use court dates and confirm a hearing with the responsible court
  • Case lookups: how to use case lookup by name or case number through the proper local portal
  • Record requests: how court records and certified copies are requested from the clerk or court that maintains them

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site. It has no connection to an Ohio court, the Montgomery County Clerk of Courts, or any government agency. The following limits apply:

  • We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
  • We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
  • We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
  • We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
  • We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
  • We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now

Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
